even though i have only been in new york city for a short amount of time it doesn't take long to begin to get a hint of the complexity of what happened on september 11th, 2001.

its one thing to talk about, at least in los angeles and in texas, and to discuss but its a different matter when the guy in the next cubicle lost his wife in tower one and his brother, a firefighter, in tower two...

amongst all the saddness today in this city, all the faces with gloom, and as i look out from my 22nd floor apartment in brooklyn and look towards lower manhattan...
